"Mi Apa" (my father), was the most hardworking, selfless, loving, and respectful human being that I've ever known. An amazing father, a devoted husband, and the best friend anyone can have- he was truly a great man. They say that wise men speak but little, and listen twice as much-and that was my dad. Full of knowledge and wise advice, a compass in moral guidance.
He was my role model in life, even until he took his last breath.
On September 24, 2018, my father passed away after a long and courageous battle against cancer. He had been diagnosed in April with stomach cancer, and faced the biggest battle in his life head on- fighting with all his will for 5 months. He endured chemotherapy, various medical procedures, and excruciating pain- but he never lost heart. When time came for him to leave this earth, he left "a mi manera"- His Way!- which was fighting honorably until the end.
Heaven gained a proud and fearless angel September 24th, and although he is gone, he will always be remembered.
It is with a heavy heart, and sincere humility, that I ask for your help in honoring my dad by donating in his honor so that my family can provide the burial services that he deserves.
