<div>Recientemente le detectaron un nuevo tumor en el hígado, que está creciendo con mucha rapidez y se encuentra en una zona de alto riesgo. También se identificó metástasis en el pulmón.

<div>La cirugía ha sido programada con carácter de urgencia para este sábado, ya que cada día que pasa reduce el margen de acción.

<div>Después de la operación, será necesario realizar un estudio genético para identificar las características del tumor y definir el tratamiento más adecuado. Este paso es clave para prevenir una nueva recurrencia.

<div>Nuestra familia no contaba con este escenario. La idea era que, como seis de las cirugías anteriores, esta también se realizara en el sistema público de salud. Pero por la urgencia del caso y la necesidad de actuar de inmediato, tuvimos que recurrir a atención particular. Esto representa un gasto que rebasa por completo nuestras posibilidades, especialmente porque la primera cirugía de hígado también fue de urgencia y se cubrió gracias al generoso apoyo de familiares y amigos.
