Mi Familia en Puerto Rico

Friends and Family, I start with thanking you for taking the time to read this request for funds for my family in Puerto Rico.  One week ago today, Hurricane Maria destroyed Puerto Rico. I ask you what were the first three things you did this morning?  Did you turn off your alarm on your i-phone? Take a hot shower? Turn on the TV to watch the news?  These items that we take for granted every day or no longer the "norm" for my family in Puerto Rico. 

While my family waits to see if their jobs are salvageable in Puerto Rico, they ponder the decision to leave the island for good and move to Ohio. 

The funds raised here will either be used for a generator that costs close to $4,000 or the funds will be used for my family to start a new life in Ohio.
