Hello Potential Donators!
My name is Roger Streeter and my son is on the LeSueur-Henderson High School Track Team. This small school in Le Sueur Minnesota cannot afford to purchase new starting blocks. The current equipment is from about 1980 and in some cases are held together with wire, they are outdated and frankly unsafe. Many of our competitor schools bring their own blocks as ours are known to be in poor condition and very old.
I have spoken with the school and the coaches and at this time there is no funds in the budget for replacements, so I am asking for donations to help fund new starting blocks for the school. These track athletes are committed to their sport and to their school and coaches. We have several athletes that qualify for STATE MEETS and deserve to be using safe, quality collegiate level equipment.
Your potential donation will be given 100% to this effort. If you own a business, your business name will be featured on a banner that will be displayed at all home meets. As well, your business will be announced as a "Starting Blocks: The beginnng to a GIANTS track team success", sponsor. If you are a PERSONAL DONATOR your support is also welcomed. You will be grouped as GOFUNDME donators on our banner.
