Hi my name is damian and I'm tryin to raise money for raise the Colours around the derby area here's a little but about what that is and any donations would be greatly appreciated . Just with some negativity regarding the flags popping up, and people being proud, and a small minority feeling so bitter and lowering their standards to name calling, before it gets slightly out of hand.....Operation Raise the Colours, is a silent protest towards the local councils & government's for what they are reducing our areas too. This has nothing to do with race, they is any amount of cultures raising the flags in their local areas. This is a message to "the powers that be" that we want our (what was once great) country back. Post WWII this country thrived on the legal migration, the immigrants who helped build the infrastructure of the country (Empire Windrush ...some of them poor people were turned over with dodgy paperwork, and are still fighting now) This country thrived on immigration, Doctors, nurses, dentists, engineers, scientists, architects....the UK would collapse if it wasn't for these people, these people who fit in, who obey the laws, who pay taxes, who raise children right, who fit in to society, who contribute to the community, who fight in our forces. The flags are raised for those people, aswell as you and me. What this government is doing is stripping us of everything we have known to be good about the UK, locking us down, making us get a jab, controlling what's on the news, poisoning the water, poisoning the foods (these are my own options), working harder for less money, less family time, harder to find work, harder to raise a family, harder to buy a house, harder to enjoy the comforts in life. Reducing benefits for the old & disabled, removed the winter fuel (although it's back with a income level) taxing your savings, taxing the farmers, taxing your tax! it gets worse by the day.....so all these colours are is to say we want our country back, back from the tyranny it has become, back to being great! The UK should never have food banks, should never have warm spaces for the elderly to grab a cupa, people shouldn't have to either eat or heat, kids shouldn't be going without meals!! we are not a 3rd world country! We have enough to sustain ourselves, and not pay through the noses for it....you can blame any government you wish too, some were here when thatcher & Blair were around some were not, some people do politics some don't, but am sure we can all agree that this country isn't thriving as well as it should be. And if raising a few flags helps people & shows the local councils that we are united in having Great Britain great again, then so be it! but again....it causes a divide, a divide we have had the past 5yrs.....so if you don't like the flags, just move on, if you do, show your support. If you have a Welsh, Scottish, Irish, etc flag, speak up and am sure the lads will put them up, just unite ....we are all in this together!
