Skyler Craver's Cancer Fund

Donation protected
Skyler who is only 23 years old has been diagnosed with a rare form of colo-rectal cancer caused by a genetic mutation called Familial Adenotamous Polyposis, or FAP. He first discovered symptoms a few months earlier than December of 2014 with a small amount of rectal bleeding and light abdominal pains and as the months pasted the bleeding and pains became worse to the point of skyler rolling on the floor in pain. He went to the doctor and was sent for a colonoscopy wich read that he had polyps (hundreds) after a biopsy we were told they were positive for cancer and after 3 cat scans later we were told the cancer had already spread to his liver and lungs. The medical terms for his condition are: 1. Iron deficiency anemia secondary to blood loss (chronic).2. Malignant neoplasm of liver secondary.3. Malignant neoplasm of rectum.4. Secondary malignant neoplasm of lung. We are awaiting more information if new medical terms are added to the above.

He was diagnosed stage IV in December of 2014, a week before his son, Aiden, was born. Sense then he has been taken out of work therefor I, his fiancée Keisha have been the only one working to support our family including my daughter who Skyler has taking as his own. Just returning from maternity leave we have been having a rough time with medical bills and house bills and rent. Skyler has been such a trooper, he has under gone a colonoscopy , many blood transfusions, iron transfusions, a week of radiation and now is undergoing chemo treatments every other week with a week to recover. He has gone to a geneticsis for a DNA testing for more details to help prepare Aiden if he tests positive with it when he starts going for a colonoscopy at age 10. Skylers home life has became hard, he has trouble holding Aiden for periods of time and can not carry him and his car seat. He tries to go to his doctor appointments if he has the energy. He plays and dressing him as long as he is laying down or on his legs. He has been having trouble gaining and keeping weight. The treatments have been making him loose his apatite and not sleep much. Any help would be very much appreciated.
