Nick behymer

On Saturday July 16, 2016, Nick was rushed to Mooresville hospital and ultimately Methodist hospital in Indianapolis in critical condition. After extensive evaluation, it was found that Nick had bleeding in his brain which was causing his non responsiveness.

On Sunday, July 17, 2016 Nick had emergency surgery to remove the blood from the brain. He also had monitors placed to monitor his intercranial pressure (pressure inside his brain). The doctors stated that this was a complicated surgery but they do not believe the blood was caused by canoeing the day before. Since the time of surgery, Nick has not woken up, and is still in very critical condition.

He has had scans to assess his head and what is going on inside. His pupils are acting normal and he is suffering from continued increased pressure in his brain.

On Monday, July 18th nick went back in for a second surgery due to his ICP numbers being to high. They had to remove bone flap to allow his brain to swell. After surgery his numbers looked great and was hanging out around 6. As the day went on his numbers increased to 16-18. We need it to stay below 20. Right now it's a waiting game hoping he comes out of this. Any donation will help as nick will be out of work for quite some time and I will be coming and going, and in and out of work.
