Laser Eye Surgery for Sam GOAL REACHED

Donation protected

Sam was 9 years old January 29, 2012.  Sam was surrendered by a gentleman who was in his late 80s, and residing in assisted living.  Poor Sam had a raging skin infection, and yeast infection, ear infection and toe nails that hadn't been cut for a year.   His mouth also needed dental cleaning, so $1000 later, his foster mom's have fostered him back to health and put him on a diet.  Sam is also blind.  Sam also has advanced hypermature cateracts.  One of his eyes is worse than the other with a bad lens.   We have opted to go ahead and do surgery on him for one eye.  That surgery is $2100 without the meds and after visits and transportation costs too and from the vet.

Several people have donated to his surgery already and we do have $1500 in his fund, however $1,000 was used to get him better, do dental, blood panels and antibiotics for ear and skin problems, so we need a bit more to cover the costs of eye surgery.

Any amount helps.  Remember our fosters are doing all the work, bathing, meds, driving them hither and yon to the vets, making their dog food due allergies.  That's the hard work, your donations are the easy work.   It takes a village.
