Hi, my name is Kat and I’m fundraising for my friend/coworker Arielle. Many of you may know her as the manager of The Ridge! For a bit of a backstory, her mom, who a lot of you may also know as the previous T&M manager, and a support worker at Opportunities yukon, has been in the hospital for about a year now after being medevacced out of whitehorse. Since then, Arielle has gone down to Vancouver to visit her about every two weeks. Vancouver is incredibly expensive, and she has to not only miss work to go, but also completely pays out of pocket for everything when she goes to visit. Between visiting, flights, accommodation and bills it’s becoming to be financially difficult for her to be continuously doing this.
