CHRIS NICU comfort bags
Donation protected
Nine years ago, our son was born a little over five weeks early. We spent a little over a week in the NICU, where we soon learned how much we missed the little comforts of home. Such things included shampoo/conditioner, lip balm, body wash, etc. Every year since he has been born, we have created comfort bags containing all of these items and more. We donate these bags on Christmas Eve, in hopes it helps curb the pain of not being in the comfort of their own homes.
This is our FINAL year in Texas, then onto another state thanks to the Army! Last year we embarked on a new adventure here, with new hospitals. We reached our goal of 200 bags and donated to three hospitals in need. We also received numerous emails thanking us for the gracious donation from families that got a bag!
This year we reach a HUGE milestone of donating 1,000 bags in the last eight years! That means 1000 families have received some form of comfort from these bags! Help us as we gear up for our FINAL year in Texas, with the same goal of donating 200 bags! All we wish is that the families realize there are people out there who CARE and are there to SUPPORT them during these crazy times!
