March for Our Lives Send a Student

Donation protected

Like many of you, Denise and I have watched the events in Parkland Florida unfold with a sense of sorrow and frustration, expecting the typical outcome as apathy overcomes emotion. Instead, we have been inspired by the student’s reaction. They have reminded us to “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

After talking to freinds and family, we now realize that there are thousands of students who want to be a part of the "March for Our Lives" in our nations capital whose only obstacle is financial.  Our goal is simple, send as many students to D.C. as possible, to let their voices resonate.

More than anything we want to help facilitate this youth driven civic-engagement in our Democracy. So Denise and I have been compelled to help as many students as possible attend on March 24 in D.C. We started off small by asking our freind Geoff Walker if any students at his high school were interested in attending, but did not have the means to get there. We thought maybe a handful of students might be curious, instead we got an immediate response, 50 students were ready to attend (from a small school).

So we have committed to sending them all, and more. Our immediate goal is to get this entire group of 50 kids from Fenway High School in the Boston area to the march in D.C., with transportation, housing and meals all fully paid. This will cost $12,000.

Please know that we are doing this in cooperation with schools. All of the students will be traveling with their teachers and fellow students under the school’s supervision.

The school is set up so all donations go to a 501(c)3 charity and are therefore tax deductible.

All of the logistics are in place
- thanks entirely to the students, teachers and administrators at Fenway High.

And this can be scaled!

There are more impassioned students at more schools ready to go. So as we pass our goal, we have all the pieces in place to get more kids to this march. Think of it like this, every donation helps another student get their voice heard.  Every donation makes it possible for a student to attend an event that will resonate for the next 50 years. All we have to do is provide the financial means.

Big thank you
in advance for taking the time to read this and super huge gratitude to anyone who is able to donate. Another amazing way to help us is to BLAST this along to everyone you know - Facebook -Twitter - Instagram - email . Time is very limited on this one so quick bold action will have the most impact.

DO IT! WE PROMISE IT FEELS GOOD.

Humbly,

Adam + Denise.
