Running to End Alzheimer's

My name is Doug Wagner. I am running the Antarctica Marathon in March 2015. I am looking forward to the challenge and the overall experience to visit this rugged and distant continent.

As part of this challenge I am also motivated to raise money for Alzheimer's research. http://alz.org/gmc

My mother put up a valiant fight but this terrible disease took the life of a very happy and caring soul not to mention an outstanding mother of eight children and a grandmother of countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My father had to watch this disease over many years take her life. He passed away a few short years later as he struggled to continue on without the love of his life and his bride for more than 56 years.

In some small way my family hopes that any funds you elect to donate will continue to support research to quickly control and defeat this disease.
