The Mi'kmaq First Nation Assembly of Newfoundland is proceeding with legal action against the Canadian government because of what we believe are unfair and unconstitutional practices with Indian registration. Tens of thousands of people in Canada were denied enrollment.  As a result of this denial, applicants are denied medical benefits.
