Help My Daddy Fight Cancer Pain

On Monday, January 11, 2016, my sweet, loving daddy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer and is now in the fight of his life.  Cancer is that awful word that you fear hearing and when you do, the world around you turns dark and your body turns numb but only briefly because then your surroundings light up and you begin to see how the things you once never noticed in the background are now illuminated...He was planning to retire in the next couple of months and had a personalgoal of making 41 years of Employment at Axiall Corp. He is no longer able to work and my stepmom has been taking off without pay for many days at a time to help him at home and to get him from appointment to appointment and test after test these last couple of weeks.  The last thing I want is for the burden of finances to bog him down so that he doesn't feel the freedom to fight and fight with everything he's got.   We will begin treatment next week with chemo and radiation.  My stepmom will be his caretaker therefore not able to work for several days to weeks at a time.  I truly do not want this to interfere with any chance of recovery that he has.  I want them to be able to focus on eachother and healing.  I want them to focus on comfort not fear. I know with this situation we cannot direct the wind BUT we can adjust the sails.   I am asking for help so that medical expenses during this difficult time can be somewhat less burdensome for my sweet family.
