Meyers Family Fire Recovery Fund

The Meyers family recently bought the home of their dreams in the Coffee Park neighborhood in Santa Rosa. Due to the recent wildfires in Sonoma County their home is a complete loss. To make things more challenging Andrea's work place suffered significant damage and Jason lost his vehicle.
The Meyers kids were just adapting to new schools and making friends in their new neighborhood. The City of Santa Rosa and County of Sonoma recently began to address a long standing housing crisis and the lack of available housing will significantly complicate this families ability to rebuild their lives.
There are deserving families in this community and this family is certainly one of them. How do I know? Their oldest daughter has been in my Santa Rosa based Girl Scout troop for 5 years. Andrea is our hard working cookie mom, meeting planner, and event coordinator.
The funds raised will go directly to the family to pay for their immediate needs such as clothing, school supplies, and basic necessities. Longer term the money will be used to replace the family car and find permanent housing.
