Mission Trip & Mountaineering

I am a sophomore at Southern Adventist University (SAU), a small university located near Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am majoring in Psychology, Outdoor Leadership, and International Studies of Spanish. Along with my academic pursuit is my pursuit of a deep, lifelong relationship with Jesus.  

Through a trip offered by SAU, I am presented with the opportunity to witness for Jesus and mountaineer in Mexico. In the beginning of March, a small group of SAU students can join the Seventh Day Adventist Colorado Conference's high school students on their journey to Mexico City to build churches and schools for the local people. Then, SAU students can deepen their outdoor primitive skills on a multi-day mountaineering excursion. 

Through this experience, I can deepen my relationship with Jesus by working as His hands and feet in Mexico City.  When mountaineering, I can expand my survival skills and leadership skills as well as gain exposure to an extreme climate. Both of these experiences will help develop me into a well-rounded outdoorsman and Christian. 

With donators help, I am able to help others and help my future. Help me raise the money to pay for SAU's lab fee (including the plane ticket), specialized gear, and appropriate clothing by Thursday, February 15. Together, we can make this happen.
