Mevludin Halilovic

On June 8th, 2019 our dear Mevludin (Mev) was involved in a life altering car accident due to a medical condition that occurred while he was driving. Mev was immediately rushed to the emergency room and placed in critical condition.. he suffered serious head trauma and had to have emergency brain surgery to remove a large portion of the right side of his brain. As of the writing of this post Mev remains in critical condition and has not yet woken up.

Mev is the best human being I will ever know. As a child he lost his father and so Mev grew up faster than most. He has helped support his mother since the day he could legally work and to this day lives in the same house as his mother and supports her still. Despite everything Mev has gone through himself, he has always put others and their problems first. Those who know Mev, even just a little, can vouch for how much of a shining light he is in their lives. He always puts others above himself. Mev is the type of man to give you the shirt off his back, whether you are a close friend or a complete stranger.

I write this with tears in my eyes as I ask you all for help in easing the burden of Mev's medical expenses. Mev was the primary earner for him and his mom and it is unlikely he will be able to go back to work. As you debate whether you should donate, I urge you to please think of what Mev would do if this was you, and anyone who knows Mev would know that he would be the first to donate and help in any way he can.
