Remove Carina's Metal Implant

About 6 years ago I underwent back surgery to replace a faulty disc between my L5-S1. At the time, I didn't know that I was allergic to the implant. Over the years, my health declined at a slow but steady pace. We finally figured out the reason was an allergic reaction to my implant. We sought help from several doctors in Utah with continued reluctance to even believe my situation was real.
After months of searching, I found a neurosurgeon willing to give it a try. The proceedure is delicate and tricky. The implant is now fused in bone. There is scar tissue encasing vital veins they have to get around. They have to go through my stomach so they might cause damage to my internal organs. On May 25th I went in for spinal implant revision surgery. They were unable to complete the removal and my medical team are now pulling out from further assistance.
We are desperate to find help! I am no longer able to work or be a mom. My pain levels keep me in my bed. I can not stand, sit, or walk with out excurciating pain. I have to have help getting dressed, bathed, fed......basically everything. I am missing out on so many things.....graduations, school activites, church, date nights, and even my daughters wedding. My kids need their mother back. My husband needs his wife back. I am afraid of loosing my job and I am the insurance carrier for the family.
We are now seeking help from The Mayo Clinic in Arizona and will have our consult first week of September. They are not in my insurance network so we have to take care of all accrued medical expenses. We also will have travel expenses to the clinic. If they decide to take on my case, we will be required to stay several weeks in Arizona and all surgery medical bills are out of our pockets. Also, loss wages from my husband to take me to all these things.
I miss hiking, camping, working, baking, cleaning, going to the gym, going on dates, shopping, and most importantly not being in so much pain. Any help for these medical and travel expenses are much apprecitated! Thank you!
