The Meszaros' are hoping to adopt a second child!
Ben and Cyndi adopted their first child in December of 2014, thanks to the unbelievable support of their friends and family. Finn was born on December 22nd, 2014 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a mear 5 lbs when Ben and Cyndi brought him home to Salt Lake City.
Finn is now 3 years old and is an absolute joy. He loves trains, horses, swimming, hanging out with his cousins and friends, walking the family dogs (Indi and Reka), and being showered with kisses from mom and dad.
Ben and Cyndi are hoping to give Finn the gift of a brother or sister this year!
Many of you may know this already, but Cyndi was born with a serious heart condition and has a mechanical replacement mitral valve as a result, and has to take blood thinner to keep that valve healthy. As a result, Ben and Cyndi aren't able to have biological children.
Adoption is often a very lengthy and expensive process. In fact, the average cost of a domestic adoption in 2012 was nearly $40,000. These fees cover everything from medical costs to lawyer and agency fees.
We know that many of you have already sacrificed a lot for the Meszaros family. With Ben's accident in 2016 and Cyndi's hospital stays over the course of the last two years, friends and family donated countless hours and dollars to help their family survive. We hesitate to ask for anything else, because you all have been so incredibly gracious already.
If you are reading this, that means that you have been very dear to Ben and Cyndi. You have already been a part of their story, and they can’t thank you enough for blessing their hearts in a million ways you probably aren’t aware of.
