MESSILAS YESHARIM YESHIVA : A YESHIVA WHERE EVERY KID CAN FIND HIS OWN PATH
So many Jewish Teenagers have lost their lives spiritually and physically through drugs, suicide and abandoning their religion because they didn’t fit into the Jewish educational system they were raised in.
Why didn’t they fit in? Most of them because of abuse, some because of learning disabilities and others because they were stuck into a system that didn’t understand them and therefore rejected their strange behavior and questions, thinking they were rebelling. What happens is that these kids are kicked out of school/Yeshiva and don’t find a place to be accepted and loved like other kids. Very quickly anger, boredom, depression, drugs and alcohol start to be their coping tools and they abandon completely their Yiddishkeit!
This Yeshiva is not just a regular Yeshiva. It is a program that will save our Teens at Risk of being rejected by their own family and/or community!!! Just because they are in pain or a little different than the mainstream it is wrong for us not offer them a place where they can be loved accepted for who they are and where people believe in them so they can succeed in life, physically and spiritually.
By donating you are literally enabling me to start this Yeshiva at its foundation and you are saving these kids from the street or much worse!!!
My dream is that this Yeshiva becomes so successful that many others will open a Yeshiva similar to this one and reach a day where we will have no kids without a school, no kids in the streets, no kids who feels he doesn’t belong.
