Mesey needs help!

This picture is Mesey, a Burmese cat who was dumped or left by
someone when they moved from my dead end street about 7
years ago.  He’s always been friendly, but I already have 2 indoor
cats & really didn’t want another. So I started feeding him in my
backyard & in my garage, where he also slept, courtesy of a cat
door.  
Fast-forward to this Fall. I noticed his crusty eyes, constant
drooling & noticeable weight loss. Took him to my vet (Fayette
Animal Hospital), who confirmed he’s FIV positive, which means
his body can’t fight off any infection. They also found he has
MAJOR dental issues, which require extensive dental surgery &
removal of at least 15 teeth(!) at a cost of $880. I made the
appointment for Jan. 5th (first available). In the meantime, I
brought him into my house, since he’s so sick & needs 3 different
prescription medicines twice daily. (Eye drops, liquid pain meds &
antibiotics.)These last two are excruciatingly painful, as the
dropper touches his mouth.
I’m retired & Social Security is my only income, so am unsure how
I’ll pay for this. I only know he’s suffering & I just want him to feel
