Merry Christmas Erin & Patrick

Our friend Erin was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer this past Spring.  It was caught early, and her prognosis is very good, but she is having to go through very aggressive treatments to beat it.  She is currently in hospital in Vancouver where she has undergone a major, 12 hour surgery.  While we are all thrilled that the surgery is over, recovery is going to be difficult, and she has to stay in Vancouver for 2-3 weeks.  Her husband Patrick is with her for a few days, then will return to Kimberley, B.C., to their 6 & 9 year old children.  Erin is hoping to be home for Christmas, but if she can't make it home, then her family will go to Vancouver to be with her. 

Christmas is financially stressful at the best of times.   If you feel you are able, please join in giving Erin & Patrick a little boost this month to cover their costs. 

I could go into more detail about time off work etc, but Erin & Patrick don't know about this page, and would not want this to be a sympathy post.  They are humble, and positive.
