"Merry Birth-mas" Fundraiser

EDIT: Since we reached my initial goal in under a week, I decided to raise the bar and increase the goal to 800 euros towards AIDS/lifecycle. There are still 10 days till the end of the campaign lets come together and support the fight against AIDS!

It’s officially my Birthday Month!

Like many other December babies, it's the season of birthday parties no-shows, double use cakes and short-changed "combined christmas-birthday gifts.  However, this year, I'd like to avoid those double-booked evenings during this festive season, and instead, invite you to join me for my birthday fundraiser starting December 1st, running through to my birthday, December 20th.

Instead of getting me any birthday or Christmas gifts I’d like to ask that you donate money towards AIDS/LifeCycle a co-organised event aimed at reducing new HIV infections and improve the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS. Thousands of people including Cyclists, Roadies, Volunteers, or Virtual Cyclists be participating to raise the critical funds needed for HIV/AIDS-related services and bring to light the fact that HIV/AIDS is still a devastating disease in our society, particularly the LGBT community and communities of colour. 

Unfortunately, I will not be able to join the cycling trip myself, however, this I hope this doesn't stop me from supporting their efforts.  I am setting a goal of raising 500 euros to send by Christmas day with your support. Please help me support the work of thousands, increase awareness and reduce stigma around HIV/AIDS.
