Mercer PA Creepy Crawly 5K benefiting Good Sam

Mercer University Physician Assistant Program is holding its 11th Annual Creepy Crawly 5K Race this October. Proceeds will benefit the Good Samaritan Health Center in Gwinnett, a non-profit organization established to provide affordable healthcare for the working poor and uninsured. Part of their mission includes providing a venue for future medical professionals to train and practice their skills all while serving the poor in the community. Mercer University Physician Assistant Students take advantage of this opportunity on a weekly basis by participating in the care of patients through hands on service and learning. The Good Samaritan Health Center relies on volunteer medical providers in order to keep the cost low for patients. They are dedicated to providing high quality medical care and services at significantly discounted rates.
