Mentored ministry in India

Donation protected
Ryan and I have been married for a little over a year now, and it has far exceeded what we could have hoped for or imagined! Ryan is in his last year of the M.Div. program at Asbury Theological Seminary. We are in the process of becoming licensed workers within the C&MA denomination for overseas missions. After becoming licensed workers, we can begin applying for overseas missions opportunities while Ryan starts the ordination process.

In this season, we are learning so much about truly trusting the Lord as our provider, and not looking to jobs or money to sustain us. We are experiencing the care of the Lord in a way that we have never experienced before—bills and loans are being paid for, and we are able to continue to extend generosity and hospitality to others, a calling we have embraced and loved while being married.

For Ryan’s program, he needs to fulfill three semester of mentored ministry, one of them being a cross-cultural experience. He is currently in his second semester of his stateside mentored ministry. We came across an opportunity through his seminary to go to Delhi and Hyderabad from January 8–19, 2018. He will be doing his mentored ministry there under Dr. Okesson in holistic mission with an emphasis in church planting. I also have the opportunity to go with Ryan and learn alongside him. We are so excited for this opportunity to do ministry together as a married couple in a country we have both been to separately.

Most importantly, we would love your prayers. We also need financial resources to get there. We need to raise $6,035 (as soon as possible!) in total for plane tickets, the cost of the class itself, and in-country expenses. We know this sounds like a lot, but we are confident that the Lord will provide a way for us to go to India and learn from pastors there who are passionately and unabashedly sharing the love of Christ in tangible ways.

**If you would prefer to write a check, you can make it out to Ryan and Hunter Legg and send it to the following address:

This is the first of many opportunities for us to do ministry together. We would love for you to participate in any way you can! Thank you so much!
