My name is Karen Thorpe-Reid CEO of Premier Change Consulting It has
taken me a minute to gather my thoughts..The events of the last few weeks & the experiences, friends, family & colleagues have shared have been painful with a distinct thing in common- we have all survived in spite of the adversity we have faced. I and others seek frequently to avoid "playing the race card " but instead find coping mechanisms to navigate the many micro aggressions experienced.
This image struck a cord with me & definitely forged part of my journey to becoming my own boss,
So I was inspired by my own Mentee Akil Benjamin who is seeking to support 100 black businesses of which I will also be a mentor. I therefore wish to announce Premier Change Consulting will be matching the amount we raise here to mentor 100 Black Woman future Leaders
To mentor 100 Black Woman future Leaders we need 3 things:
1. We need mentors. If you would like to donate your time 1 hour/month for 6 months please sign up here to volunteer
2. We have calculated we can successfully mentor 100 Black Women for 6 months for £10k. This looks like £40 to onboard these future leaders. Your financial support to successfully achieve this will be welcomed
3. We need this to be shared and seen within your community. Please share it with your boards and share it with your senior leadership. These are the workplace communities we would like to impact most
