This is our chance.
This is the moment.
Last weekend was incredible! Two performances sold out.
We were in Broadway World.
We had amazing feedback and reviews.
"What a great performance from the cast of Maximalista! Heartfelt and funny from beginning to end. A must see!" Rosselyn Alemany
"A Wonderfully Balanced show about a woman struggling with mental illness and hyper sexuality. With the strong Direction by Cammerron Baits and impeccable sensibilities of the cast led by Rew Starr that will have you laughing in all the right places." Ken Wolf -Artistic Director
"Great direction and top notch actors" Nick Cartusciello- Another Director whose brilliant work in "The Latch Key Kid" is also featured in the festival.
Manhattan Rep invited us back *this weekend* for two more performances.
So we again have rehearsal space to rent, cast and crew to pay, outreach to perform, and other items to make this chance everything it can be. We're hoping this time to be able to fly the playwright out to see her work, our work.
We've become #MaxFam as we delved into this intense work.
We share in the goal of New York first lady Chirlane McCray of finding 250,000 New Yorkers to take the Mental Health First Aid class, offered free throughout the city, and become a potential hero, helping with the city's and nation's mental health crisis. This is our action, our Do Something, for this show.
We've invited a lot of people to see it, and if you're in NYC, there's limited seating, so get your tickets soon at ManhattanRep.com.
We're at the precipice of something really big. Please be part of it with us.
