Mental hospital baker act bill

Hello, my name is Brittany. I was hospitalized and then baker acted due to a suicide attempt. Being baker acted was one of my worst fears so the experience was horrifying for me, not only because of the fear of not being allowed to leave but also because I knew how expensive it would be and I wouldn’t be able to afford it at all. With all the tests, medicine, and just the cost per stay it was just way too much for me to pay, and my mental health has made it impossible for me to work without breaking down.
