I have now got my tickets arranged thanks to my parents. Now I aim to collect enough funds for my daily expenses which should be roughly under £400. Which is why I have also changed my goal to half.
Thanks to few of my sponsors, I have managed to get my DBS checked, buy my travel insurance and was able to get few jabs injected.
Story:
This year I will be volunteering to work abroad (Sri Lanka) with SLV Global which is a mental health placement specially tailored for psychology students.
This placement will involve over 40 hours of hands-on experience with children of all age and also with the local community which aims to promote positive mental health.
The cost of the fees and whole programme is somewhat going to paid for through my savings and maintenance loan. However, I am now struggling to arrange for other expenses which is roughly estimated to be under £400.
I aim to at least try and get half the fund within a month or two and I would really be happy for whatever you could offer me because 'Every Little Counts'.
With this page, the minimum that you could give is £5.
