Mental Health Emergency Car Fund

On 20/04/2021 the unthinkable happened. Bearded Fisherman are a mental health charity that assist the police with suicide call outs. Their vehicle was arson attacked. It destroyed and with it the potential of vulnerable lives being rescued.

Enlighten The Shadows is a men’s mental health group in Nottingham, UK. We love and support the work of Bearded Fisherman. The news of their vehicle being destroyed broke us.

There is no time to lose! We want to call upon all citizens we know and supporters of our work to dig deep by donating whatever possible. 

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45.  Male suicide is at a 20 year high. 4,303 men passed as a result of suicide in 2020 (ONS).
