Laptops for Students

THIS CAMPAIGN IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING DONATIONS I am a university lecturer in Ireland and am encountering lots of students who do not have access to a computer for remote learning which is all that universities and schools can offer right now because of the coronavirus. Although students may have a smartphone, trying to write an essay or work on a project on a smartphone is not viable.  As usual this is impacting disadvantaged students the most. I would like to buy laptops for Irish students in need so they can complete their coursework during the global pandemic.I will buy laptops like this one https://www.dell.com/en-ie/shop/laptops/new-inspiron-15-3000/spd/inspiron-15-3593-laptop/cn33501 and I will order it online and get it delivered to Maynooth University library who in collaboration with the Maynooth University Access office and IT services will organise lending it out to students in need.
