Mendota Heights Fireworks

Donation protected

Residents of Mendota Heights and city neighbors, our tradition of fireworks might be ending!    The fireworks show has been a beloved Mendota Heights tradition since 1995.  As you might have read in the Heights Highlights the 4th of July show was going to be canceled in 2018.  Enough people are concerned about the fate of the fireworks show that there are now plans to continue the show using business and private donations.     We’ve started a GoFundMe site in hopes to raise awareness and donations that can keep the tradition going for years to come.  Show your support for the wonderful 4th of July fireworks show by making a donation today!

Our goal is to fund the fireworks show each year going forward.  We’ve set a target budget of $14,000.00 for this year’s show.

Donation Information:  The organization used to shoot the fireworks show is called “The Northern Lighters”.  This  organization has been shooting the fireworks show for us since the beginning in 1995.  The good news is that the Northern Lighters is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization so your donations are tax deductible.  We will set up a cutoff date and rolling donations for the fireworks show.  That means that if the donation comes in too late for this year’s show, it will be used for next year’s show and so on.  Tell your neighbors and community partners about this effort!

Sincerely,
Jay and Gisele Taylor
