Beginning in 1983 and every year until her health began to fail in 2019, Rita Richmond provided Christmas gifts in secret to elementary-aged children. She would give these gifts to their parents, who would then usually give them to their children from Santa. She didn't want anyone to know that she did this; she truly wanted to be a "Secret Santa."

To celebrate her life and legacy, Rita's daughters are picking up the mantle of Rita's Secret Santa work. Utilizing their contacts in Monroe County, OH, Marshall County, WV, and Allegheny County, PA, Heather, Jaime, and Sara will work with families in need to provide requested gifts this holiday season.
