Larry Desmond Kimbrugh, Jr., known to everyone as “Lay” was born April 23, 1983, in Takoma Park, MD. Larry age 34 entered into eternal peace Thursday, December 28,2017, in Washington, DC.
Larry attended and graduated from High Point High School in 2001. He also attended Montgomery College and Tesst College where he earned a diploma as a Medical Assistant.
Larry worked as a Medical Assistant at various nursing homes in Maryland. He was one of the top sales persons for Home Depot, where he was employed for five years as well as top sales person at a local car dealership.
Larry was artistic in poetry, music, extremely tech savvy and an excellent cook. He played football, basketball, and karate. Larry had a special gift to make people laugh. He was kind, loving, big hearted and would give you the shirt off his back, but most of all, he loved his family and the Washington Redskins.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory his mother June Thornton, stepfather Bill Thornton; father Larry Kimbrugh, Sr.; sister Tiara Kimbrugh Yates (Phil ) brother-in-law, Maiyani Thornton (step-sister), Tosha Kimbrugh (step-sister), Ladrea Kimbrugh (step-sister); 2 daughters, Tanaiya Kimbrugh, Marissa Kimbrugh Lopez; 2 nieces, Brianna and London Yates; a host of relatives and close friends.
