Memorial Tree for Donna Reynolds
Donation protected
As many of you reading this likely know, our beautiful, loving mother Donna passed away on her 61st birthday, April 30th 2021.
Working with the City of Ottawa, we are planning to have a memorial Maple tree planted in her honour. It will be located in Kanata at Walter Baker park near the big toboggan hill, where we have many memories with our mom growing up.
There are considerable fees to both the tree planting and the memorial plaque that goes with it, so we are hoping to raise some funds in time for the planting later this month. It will be nice to have a physical location to honour our Mother's memory.
We were unable to have a funeral at the time of her passing due to COVID pandemic restrictions. On the one year anniversary of her passing in 2022 we held a large (and fabulous) memorial gathering which we paid for ourselves. Over the past two years, many generous friends have offered to contribute towards flowers or a memorial service, so our hope is to gratefully accept those offerings now to pay for this tree. We are well aware that times are tough right now with inflation, food prices etc. so we are extremely grateful for any donations and have no expectations. :)
Since our Mother passed away from complications with her heart, rheumatoid arthritis, and diabetes, we welcome donations to any of the following foundations as well:
Thank you from Jasmine, Jesse, Justine, and Jake
Don’t be unhappy just because I’m out of sight,
Remember that I’m with you,
Each morning, noon and night.
