Memorial Fund in honour of Bronwen

This is for Bronwen, the girl we all loved, the smile we adored, the hugs that warmed our hearts.

Many of you have been asking how to honour her, and in lieu of flowers, there are a few organizations that we would like to support in her name.

As you know, we lost Bronwen tragically and unexpectedly.  Cameryn’s Cause is an organization based out of Campbell River that helps local families who have children that need medical treatment elsewhere to make sure they can stay with their kids and families.  They also stepped in to help us with all of the funeral expenses, which at a time like this was an immense weight off our shoulders.

Bronwen was a creative soul and a bookworm.  Since moving to Port Hardy she spent a lot of time at the Learning Commons (library) at Eagleview Elementary. It was a special place for her.  We would like to be able to give back to the library as we know our school libraries are underfunded.

Bronwen was passionate about highland dancing and she was always busy making some kind of creative craft.  We were thinking that we might also like to support the Port McNeill 'Kids in Motion' society and the Mount Waddington Highland Dance Association.

Please specify which program you would like to support in the condolence comment box when you donate (Cameryn's Cause, The Learning Commons/Library, Kids in Motion, MW Highland Dance).  Unspecified donations will be sent where the families deem most appropriate.
