Memorial Fund for the Poole Family

For those of you who don't know Thomas O. Poole, II, even after a first meeting, give Tom just five minutes of your time and his humor and general concern for everyone else would make you feel like you've known him for years. He was an incredibly engaging, energetic and dynamic person with a positive outlook on life and friendly demeanor.

Tom was an unbelievably dedicated husband, and father.  His first, major, and only concern was the well-being of his family, Lindsey and Gus; they were his world. He constantly told stories of their adventures, Gus' accomplishments as he is growing, and the way he lit up when speaking of them was unmistakable. It was clear they meant the world to him, and he to them. My heart shatters at their loss which cannot be put into words.

They've recently moved from Scottsdale to Pittsburgh, and while Tom was dedicated first to his family, second came the lives of those he touched through his work with Village Green. As a valued team member in multiple communities across the country, Tom was dedicated to improving the lives of each resident he worked with regularly going above and beyond the requirements to create authentic experiences often using his great stories and quick-witted  humor.

Thomas' passing was sudden and unexpected after being involved in a motorcycle accident. There are no words to express the sorrow felt by his family, friends, and all of the work associates who knew and cared about him. Tom's wife, Lindsey, is now faced with short and long term challenges around housing, living expenses, income security, medical care, and the future of their son, Augustus.

Please join me in supporting the Poole family in this very trying time to help carry some of their unimaginable burden.

Viewing and funeral arrangement information is available at the website below.

Lindsey and Gus, as well as the Poole family, appreciate the outpouring of support in this difficult time and appreciate the efforts and contributions made from the community and everyone else that knows Thomas. He will be missed greatly.
