<div>We are heartbroken to share the devastating news of the tragic and untimely loss of a family of four in Manassas Park, Virginia. On the evening of Thursday, June 6th, 2025, two adults and two young children — a 2-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl — were found deceased in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide.

<div>The victims were identified as Santosh Pariyar (38), Anju Shrestha (36), and their two beloved children. The family had recently moved to the area and were originally from Nepal. Neighbors recall the children playing outside, full of life and joy, and describe the family as quiet, kind, and loving.

<div>This unimaginable tragedy has left loved ones and the community in shock and mourning. We are raising funds to cover the costs of funeral and memorial services for all four family members.

<div>In accordance with their cultural and religious traditions, Anju’s brother is currently in Nepal and is urgently attempting to secure a visa to travel to the U.S. so that he may perform the final rites and traditional rituals. These customs are of deep importance to the family and community, and your support will help ensure they are honored properly.

<div>I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of a close family friend. Once the funds are collected, I will personally ensure that they are electronically transferred to Anju Shrestha’s brother, Kiran Shrestha, who is currently in Nepal. Kiran coordinated funeral arrangements and traditional rites for the family.  The funds will be directly transferred to him and maintain full transparency throughout the process. These funds will be used to cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as any necessary travel, legal, and cultural arrangements during this difficult time.
