MEMORIAL FUND FOR FAMILY OF JUNJI AOKI
The master sushi chef, Junji Aoki peacefully passed away in the arms of his wife Akiko on May 22nd after fighting vigorously against pancreatic cancer. Junji has been always positive and never gave up on finding the right treatment, and was even working at his restaurant 3 weeks before his death, contributing to his community.
He was a beloved husband and father to Akiko and Mari. At the same time, he was a respected and widely admired sushi chef and owner of Junji Fine Japanese Cuisine, whose raw passion for his art was legendary. His authenticity in his food , cut through his warm, welcoming smile. Now his wife and daughter are determined to continue on with restaurant.
We would greatly appreciate any contribution to help Akiko and Mari move forward to continue Junji's legacy and to move on happily, as Junji would have wanted them to.
