Memorial Fund for James Chiuso

Donation protected
On 12/26/20 my sister Katie Chiuso (Forster) received a devastating phone call. Her husband, James Chiuso, lost his life suddenly to his battle with addiction.
When James entered Katie’s life, he became a loving husband and caring stepfather. He struggled with his addiction in silence. Katie received the phone call with complete shock because she was not aware he was using.

James was a kind soul and had a enormous heart. He took care of his family. He played with Katie’s children, nephews, and nieces. He did anything Katie asked of him. They loved each other with their whole hearts.

We ask that you please donate whatever you can to a fund for a memorial service to honor the loving soul James was.

Katie choses to share James story to be honest and real about how addiction can turn people’s worlds upside down. How you can love someone so much and they can hide their struggles. She hopes that maybe sharing his story can help someone pull themselves out the darkness and find help.
It’s okay not to be okay.
