Eli Blumberg – joyful, caring, smart, funny and constantly enthusiastic – died at home with his parents by his side on August 19, 2018. He was loved immeasurably and will be missed immensely.
Eli was best known for how he made other people feel. Sunshine always seemed to follow when Eli entered a room. Upon meeting him, one could expect a strong high-five or a giant hug, and always a great, big smile. Universally revered for his kind nature, friendly demeanor and excessively good manners, Eli brought happiness to everyone he encountered and made friends wherever he went.
Friends of Eli are establishing this campaign in order to ensure that Eli’s brand of happiness continues to spread in the weeks, months and years ahead. One of the goals for donations is to help Eli’s incredible parents, Jeremy and Rosheen, create a memorial fund in Eli’s name so that his kindness, generosity and unique charisma can continue to be felt by those who were not fortunate enough to know him directly. Jeremy and Rosheen have been amazing influences on Eli’s life and will be equally wonderful champions of his legacy.
Although Eli’s life was far too brief, the warmth and joy he brought to so many others will not be forgotten. We thank you for your generosity and hope that fond memories of Eli can bring you a smile today and beyond.
