Memorial Fund for David J Carerra

On September 18, 2018 at 8:33pm we lost our beloved David H. Carrera Jr. This fund is being set up to help with memorial services so that he can be laid to rest. Dave had been initially hospitalized in August and diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the Liver and Kidney failure. He was released to be in the comfort of his home on September 17, 2019.  He was loved by so many people and was surrounded by love at his time of passing.

For those that knew Dave know that he was always there to help his loved ones and he did whatever he could lovingly. Whether you just needed a ride, to share a drink or smoke, needed him to put his chef skills to use, or you just needed someone to talk to. There was no task too small or big that he was not willing to take on if it meant to help those he cared about. Dave loved hard and more real than anyone I know. Although he was a very tough man both physically and mentally he was also one of the softest guys. He never held back from telling those that he cared about how he felt about them, bad or good. Most interactions with those he loved always ended with "I love you" and the biggest warmest hugs. 

Dave was only 34 at the time of his passing and unfortunately had no prior arrangements  for funeral expenses.  Now is the time for us all to come together to raise the funds that will be needed to lay Dave to rest. All donations are appreciated and will go directly to his memorial services and any expenses related to his hospitalization.
