It is with extreme sadness that we announce that on September 18, 2020, our beloved Christopher (CJ) Books unexpectedly passed away. CJ was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend who left a lasting impression on those around him. He is survived by his wife Diane Books, mother Pam Matthews, stepfather Dennis Matthews, father Joe Books, sister Heidi Books, and nieces Hailey and Destiny. Those who knew CJ knew he loved to spend his time working on his motorcycles, watching Supernatural, and collecting various Batman merchandise. One of CJ's favorite family activities was attending NASCAR races and watching them make a left turn. While the time we had with him was short, he will live forever in our hearts. The family is devastated by this loss and unfortunately not financially prepared to cover the full cost for a memorial service. We want to give CJ the memorial service he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
We are raising money to assist in the unexpected memorial costs and to help with the costs Diane will incur while the family grieves this loss. Unfortunately, the current global conditions have delayed scheduling a date. Information will be provided as soon as they become available.
