Memorial Fund for baby Camila

Ricky and Alicia Padron brought baby Camila into the world on March 11, 2018. She was born missing an X chromosome. This caused her brain stem to be small which controls basic life sustaining things like breathing. On Saturday 3/17, she had a bad episode where stopped breathing and they had to bag her for a couple of minutes to breathe for her. The doctors were afraid, if they didn't intubate her, that she would stop breathing again and they wouldn't be able to save her. On Sunday, they successfully intubated her. On Monday, she had an MRI to see how small the cerebellum and brain stem actually were. The results were not as they had hoped. The brain stem was very under-developed. 
Camila passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on March 21, 2018. 
There is no greater loss than the loss of a child. But we can rejoice in the fact that Camila is healed and is in the arms of her Heavenly Father, and we know her mommy and daddy will see her again.
