Memorial Fund for Alexus Ray Cane

Donation protected

Alexus Ray Cane gained her angel wings on August 12th, 2018 in Cottonwood at the age of 18.

Alexus was born on October 17th, 1999 in Pullman, Washington to Larry Cane and Teresa Hill. She recently graduated with honors from Pullman High School this past June.

As a child, Alexus was always dancing and singing, spreading joy to every person she encountered. As Alexus grew older, her creativity continued as she became passionate about art, painting and sewing were her specialty. She treasured creating masterpieces for those close to her, personalizing each project to illustrate her unique relationship with that person.

As a younger teen, she enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Moose Lodge and Zeppoz. She participated in bowling, darts and her absolute favorite activity, the Moose Lodge’s Haunted House.

Alexus had a dream of going to school for interior design, for which she hoped to decorate homes and businesses. She said through interior design she felt that she could showcase her talents to provide people with spaces that exuded love and comfortability.

Alexus’ love for others was extremely evident, she cared so deeply for her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents Larry and Teresa, sisters Sarah and Mercedes, brothers Heath, Jerrod, and Robbie, nephews Jayden, Chase and Wyatt, nieces Piper and Kyra and grandmother Linda.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Stanley Hill, who was waiting with open arms to care for her until we are all together again.

A viewing will be held Thursday, August 16th at Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home in Lewiston from 12-5pm.  A graveside service will be held at Melrose Cemetery on Friday at 1pm and a potluck memorial celebration will be held on Saturday at Zeppoz in Pullman from 1-4pm.

Donations will be going to Alexus' family to support memorial service costs. If donations exceed the memorial cost, the remaining amount of money will be donated to Alexus' senior project - to help the Pullman Rural Fire Department purchase an AED.

Thank you all for your love and support during this devastating time. Her beautiful spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
