Memorial for Sherri J Simmons

My mom Sherri Simmons has passed to be with the father. Most of her life she has battled many ailments and just had a rough life in general. Surviving several near death exeperinces including a car wreck that left her with permanent scars throughout her body including her face. She was always cheerful despite how rough things were for her.

One of of my favorite things I loved about her was seeing her smile from ear to ear with all her missing teeth. She was a happy person no matter how bad life was. Always looking forward to the next day. She was and is the strongest women I’ve ever met. 

She truly relied on god daily throughout the years to give her comfort and peace. I was with her and cared for her as her health started to decline over the years.  Her advanced stage COPD and pneumonia was more than she was able to battle and defeat.  Her  legacy was that of someone who would give her last to anyone in need. 

Her presence often brought cheer and laughs  from those who really knew her true self. This always ministered to me because I would see her in pain or suffering yet she smiled.  She was a god fearing woman. If you went by her home on any day it would not be uncommon to hear gospel music blaring loud and bible scriptures scattered all over her walls.
 
This Go Fund Me is for those who would like for contribute to help us have a honorable home going. For friends and family that wish to participate or that cannot make it to her services. I know she is in a better place and has no more pain or suffering. If you feel it in your heart please do so.
