Memorial for Shannon Griffin (Heil)

Shannon was taken from us far too soon. She was killed in a hit and run Saturday, Oct 21st 2017.  Our hearts are broken and our eyes filled with tears over this horrible tragedy. She was a beautiful soul, always bubbly and bright and a shoulder to lean on, even if her life was in termoil herself. She was like a sister to many of us, that's just how Shan was. She is so loved, and so missed, and all of her friends are in shock. We have decided to do a small candlelight memorial for her soon in Northfield, so her friends and family can gather in this time of mourning and celebrate the life she lived and the love she gave. In the spring, her mother is planning a celebration of life. We are gathering donations for the candlelight memorial, and also for the celebration of life in the spring, which won't be much, but, we would like to dedicate a headstone or memorial bench for her in the spring at the celebration of life and hopefully place it next to her grandmother who she loved more than anyone in this world.  Thank you for giving to this cause so we can get something very special for her.
