Memorial for My Son Ross Pennell

My beautiful big-hearted son Ross James Pennell died on August 15th, 2018.

He was my first experience of unconditional love, when he was born and lay naked on my heart the ice melted.

I am so sad he died.

Ross had a heart of pure gold and sunshine. He was a bright light for anyone who interacted with him. He made so many peoples' lives beautiful by supporting them and helping them feel loved and accepted no matter what they were going through. He was there for everyone all the time.

His death was sudden and unexpected. The costs are high and we are asking for our friends and family and his community to support us with whatever you can. 

The costs include the funeral home services and service coordinator (~$8,000), the details of the service like flowers, photos, and memorial programs (~$500), the reception catering and details (~$1000), etc.

Any funds raised in excess of the expenses incurred will be donated to programs that support young adults' recovery from addiction.

The services will be held Saturday, August 25th in Newhall, CA.
