Our heart’s weigh heavy in the passing of my brother, Robert Joseph Gracia, Jr. He was known to many, and will always be remembered as “Rob Dawg!” I would often hear him refer to himself as such thinking, “Oh brother! He sure thinks he’s something!” Indeed he was, something! Good ol’ Rob Dawg! =’(
Although he was sick for some time, his illness took its toll swiftly in the end, and took him from us post haste. He passed away peacefully after having said goodbye to loved one’s just after midnight, Saturday, May 27th, 2017.
Services still pending, for those who might not be able to attend, those whose lives he touched and those who touched his, I feel compelled to bestow upon you that my brother loved each and every one of you as you loved him. I know this to be true, as I had both the honor and privilege in bearing witness to his one last act of kindness to all, as he said “bye,” and waved goodbye as his time drew near. This one last gesture displayed all of who he was. His gentle heart, his always giving nature as he gave without expectation, his care and compassion, and his love for all, as he said, “Goodbye,” not just to those present, but to all. Devoted always, a true friend ‘til the end.
We are eternally grateful for all who have come to our side during our time of sorrow. Many have offered to help in any way possible, and aside from those requests already made of some, the only thing we respectfully request in lieu of flowers, is that your generosities be placed at the gofundme page to help with Rob’s services. I cannot express enough how very touching, and special, all of your heartfelt thoughts, prayers, blessings, and love means to each and every one of us! Your thoughtfulness is unending and appreciated more than you know! We love you all, and we too, are so, so sorry for “YOUR” loss! RIP brother! You are TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY LOVED & MISSED! <3
