Memorial for Michelle "Mish" Freeman

On December 22nd, Michelle R. Freeman suddenly passed away at age 51. She was a sister, aunt, niece, cousin, dear friend to many, stylish bowling teammate and dedicated postal employee for over 30 years. My family seeks your generous support to help lay her to rest. She was not supposed to pass away at the age of 51. We are stunned that she is no longer here with us and so unprepared to have to say goodbye. Whatever you can do to join us in reaching our $7,300 goal by Monday, January 4th to memorialize her we so appreciate it.



For those of you who did not know Michelle let me tell you a little about her, she was generous at heart while she dished out her brand of tough love. If you were lucky enough to have her care about you then you could not escape her delivery of wise-cracking truth-telling. In a world where many find confrontations uncomfortable, Mish would not mind doing battle with your inner critic. 


Besides bowling, sharing cat videos was also a favorite pastime. The skibbity pat cat videos cracked her up the most. After previously owning dogs, in the fall of 2019, she rekindled her love of cats. I talked her into getting two kittens instead of the one. They would keep each other company when she came home after working long hours. She was the proud mama of Bonnie & Clyde well at least until the vet delivered the gender news. “Her boys,” as she affectionately referred to Donnie & Clyde, were constantly by her side and definitely miss her too.


She was a fierce voice for those she worked with, bowled with, and loved. It is painful knowing that we move into a new year without Michelle.
